Sunshine Coast Business Expo

Nearly 500 members of the Sunshine Coast business community gathered at Novotel Twin Waters Resort on Thursday 22 October for the much anticipated launch of the region’s first ever business expo.
This networking breakfast was the opening event of a two day expo program that featured high profile speakers including renowned demographer, Bernard Salt, a series of workshops and an extensive trade exhibit.
Promoted as the ultimate one stop shop for business on the Sunshine Coast, the expo attracted hundreds of delegates who were keen to gain that competitive edge in a contemporary and dynamic marketplace.
This regional expo was the product of a partnership between the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce and Events (Qld) Pty Ltd.
Chamber President Myles McNamara, is excited about the calibre of the expo and is confident that businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast benefited from the experience.
“After surveying businesses early in 2009, our plans for the expo began in earnest".
