Sunshine Coast Business Expo

Preliminary planning for the second Sunshine Coast Business Expo is now underway. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the expo is set to be a permanent feature on the region’s business calendar. Dates will be confirmed in the near future and the Chamber looks forward to unveiling an exciting new event schedule.

In 2009 nearly 500 members of the Sunshine Coast business community gathered at Novotel Twin Waters Resort on Thursday 22 October for the much anticipated launch of the region’s first ever business expo.

This networking breakfast was the opening event of a two day expo program that featured high profile speakers including renowned demographer, Bernard Salt, a series of workshops and an extensive trade exhibit.

Promoted as the ultimate one stop shop for business on the Sunshine Coast, this regional expo was facilitated by the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce and attracted hundreds of delegates who were keen to gain that competitive edge in a contemporary and dynamic marketplace.

Chamber President Myles McNamara, was delighted with the calibre of the expo and was confident that businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast benefited from the experience.
